Hi, everyone! Just a reminder that I'm only auditing this course, so I'm moving a little more slowly than the rest of you who are taking this class for academic credit! So, don't follow my lead! :)
I'm still getting familiar with the tools in Photoshop. I thought it would be fun to play around with the light "flower" that I caught on camera in the first picture. I wanted to brighten/highlight the pink colors I saw in the raw photo. I also cropped the photo to try and keep the focus on the flower. A question I have is whether or not it's possible to remove the green "dot" of light in the photo. I couldn't figure that out, but I think the picture would be improved if it is possible to remove it.
In the second photo, I thought the double reflection in the mirror was interesting. I simply cropped the picture using the rule of thirds grid and adjusted the color using the Brightness/Contrast tool. I wonder if I should have brightened the white color of the vases...just another idea for an edit.

I created these 3D prints using 3D fractal software then printing them with abs plastic (Lego plastic) Look above for a video tutorial on how to remove the green spot from your very cool lens flare apparition.
