Paul Piorkowski - Daily Post 8

Hello! Today I wanted to focus on something I captured quickly in a previous assignment: my origami. I took new photos, but I made a couple pieces of origami in my junior year of high school that I still have, and I feel the patterns and designs of the paper make for good artistic shots.

  1. One of the big things that can distinguish fine art photography from just taking pictures is a kind of magical transformation that thakes place that can inspire the viewer to see things in a new way. The happens when the photographer looks more deepley at a subject and really uses expressive light and compelling design.
